Paolo Arao
Previously trained as a classical pianist and composer, Paolo Arao (b. 1977) received a BFA in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 1999 and was a participant at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine, in 2000. His work has been included in exhibitions at The Drawing Center, SculptureCenter,  Socrates Sculpture Park, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York, as well as Madder 139 in London. He is represented by Jeff Bailey Gallery in New York. Paolo Arao lives and works in Brooklyn.
